The Doc Howard Over 45 Swim is Saturday, June 7. Sign-in is 4:00-4:50 PM. Pilot Briefing is at 4:50 PM. Swim Briefing is at 5:00 PM. We will head over to Gas House Cove at 5:25 PM. We will jump at 6:00 PM. It’s a good flood so we’ll be home quickly. Trinkets, festivities, and grilling after the swim. Come for the swim, stay for the burgers, salmon burgers, veggie burgers, potato salad, and ice cream—and beer. If you are under 45, this is a great time to get another “help”—and beer.
For those who have not done paid already, there is an annual swim fee of $40.00. All swimmers must be registered with US Masters Swimming. If you are a newer member, Out of Cove swims require a six-month membership period prior to participating, or completion of an accelerated qualification process. No swim aides such as wetsuits, fins, snorkels and so on are permitted. To swim Alactraz or Golden Gate or both, in-town members must complete successfully three Out of Cove swims and help on two swims.
