In 2014, we won the plaque for the first time in forever . We want to keep it. It looks great above the stairs. The stairs will look sad without it.
The swim is won due to FAST SWIMMERS AND A GREAT TURNOUT. If we only have one half of the equation, we won’t win the swim. We need everyone.
This is a great swim. It’s from Yacht Harbor (the beach by the St. Francis Yacht Club) to Aquatic Park on a powerful flood: 3.4 knots max flood at jump time.
Here’s the schedule for the swim:
Swimmer and Pilot Registration from 7:00 to 8:15 AM, Pilot Briefing at 8:15 AM, Buses depart for Yacht Harbor at 8:30, Swim Briefing for Both Clubs at 9:05 at Yacht Harbor, Jump at 9:15 AM.
All DC members are welcome to join this swim. Even if you just joined this month, you can join this swim. The 6 month rule applies to Dolphin Club only swims.
No USMS required. No Dolphin Club Swim Dues required. No 6 Month Rule.
