Our longest swim of the season is Fort Point and it is June 14. Over 3.5 miles of 3.0 knot flood and an orange cap will bring you home after a boat jump. Check In: 6:15 to 6:55 AM; Pilot Briefing: 7:00 AM; Swim Briefing: 7:15 AM; Walk to Boats: 7:30 AM; Boats Depart: 7:45 AM; Jump: 8:15 AM. There is a $20 boat fee. To swim Golden Gate or Alcatraz, you must finish three out of cove swims and HELP on two club swims. Including Ft. Point, there are 5 club swims until Golden Gate in which you can get a HELP. Including Ft. Point, there are 3 DC out of cove swims (4 if you are over-45) until Golden Gate. Trans Tahoe and both Santa Cruz Pier days count this year for out of cove status, but you must provide proof of completion. Make your plans now to be sure you qualify for Golden Gate and Alcatraz.
