The second annual (and first time completed!) China Beach swim was a strong showing for the club’s swimmers and pilots. On a 5 mile course passing under the Golden Gate, they navigated shifting currents and boat traffic. The flood was swift, and while one unnamed swimmer did miss the opening, he came back through Creakers under his own power. Thus, all 15 swimmers who started earned their finishes. Congratulations! As with all of our swims, none of this would be possible without the dedication of many volunteers and pilots. We are lucky to get to do these fun and challenging things together.
