The annual John Nogue Swim for Science from Pier 15 had strong currents that aided the swimmers, but made getting in to the opening somewhat challenging. With the warm water and moderate temperatures, the swim went off well with everyone finishing in less than an hour. The galley supplied a wonderful reason to party and everyone gathered on deck afterwards enjoyed themselves.
