Despite choppy conditions on the water, the currents were forgiving, and all 45 swimmers navigated the crossing safely in an almost straight line. Even with a delayed jump time to clear tanker traffic, participants delivered impressive performances, with finish times ranging from 28 minutes 28 seconds to 1 hour 22 minutes 38 seconds.
A huge thank you to all of the kayak pilots, safety boats, and volunteers whose teamwork, patience, and dedication made the swim possible and safe for everyone.
