Club watercraft may not be taken away from the club or for overnight trips except with special permission from the Boat Captain.
Some reasons might include:
- Borrowing a shell for a competition
- Taking a kayak to pilot a club swimmer further afield
- Rowing a rowboat on an overnight trip to Angel Island or Sacramento
Approval is usually granted if you’ve been contributing to the Dolphin Club boating or swimming program – such as helping with training, boat night etc. – and you have the appropriate certification in the craft you are looking to use.
